ALL THE INFORMATION BELOW doesn't apply and should not be used if you are using one of the most recent eScribe and DNA firmware versions, to change the materials on Temperature Control just lock the DNA device with 5 clicks, once it is locked hold down booth, plus, minus and fire button and select the material you want to use to vape with temperature control.

WARNING: 

The ecig file for each device is made to be opened under File menu on EScribe, with the device already connected to EScribe and then everything should be uploaded to the device.
Each profile downloaded on an zip folder is made to be Opened on the bottom of each profile if you prefer so but they are already included on the 1st major ecig file.
 
"curve must be strictly increasing" can occur if you load the profiles on the CSV File. You need to open them on the bottom of each profile clicking on "Load Profile".
"curve must be strictly increasing" can also occur due to some bugs on the EScribe application and if you have it please watch the 2nd video provided on this page.

Findings on DNA 200

 

Here are my findings on the DNA200:

 

Regarding the temperature, in my opinion if you setup your Temperature Control profiles with the TCR of each type of wire, you will have an more accurate temperature and more stable vape as you can see on my testing below:

 

DNA 200 TC Tests:
(TCR is using each wire TCR added on the "Special" Button under each profile on Escribe Software)
(CSV is using the CSV files downloaded from Steam Engine)

 

All tests where conducted with the temperature of 400ºF

 

NI200:
TCR: 397ºF
CSV: 389ºF

 

Titanium:
TCR: 403ºF
CSV: 429ºF

 

304SS:
TCR: 401ºF
CSV: 395ºF

 

316LSS:
TCR: 404ºF
(0.00100 instead of 0.00092 DNA200 doesn’t allow that TCR)
CSV: 387ºF

 

Every type of wire has different Temperature Coefficient or TCR and here is the list of the most common and uncommon wires used to vape:

Ni200: 0.00620

SS316L: 0.00092

    Well I see Mike Vapes came out with a review on the SXmini Q. Considering this should be one of the most accurate TC mods on the market I asked him a question,”How do you do a review on what’s supposed to be the most accurate TC device on the market and then vape it in Power mode?” I know that he doesn’t get down and dirty like you do but it seems like he would at least do a TC atty. I still told him that I do enjoy his reviews because at least I can see the device and he got it right out but waiting for yours to decide if I want one or not. It would be mainly for the battery life since I don’t do crazy coils or duals. I have a couple of Merlins coming which I’m basing on your review and what others have said about it. Sounds like a nice device. I’m sure your reviews really take some time but I was considering getting a Triade which has all the wires I use already in there but I am so used to the way the SX works been using it since the S class I’m not sure I want to mess with the DNA but I love the way the Triade looks. If I get a Q I am worried how the finish will hold up since it would be difficult to get a sleeve on it. Possible J wrap but it so purdy. Hate to cover it up. All 7 of my SX’s have sleeves. Well have fun doing your review of the Q l am looking forward to it.

  2. Hi mate will be receiving a lavabox tomorrow and was wondering can I just use the profiles listed under any device? I used your settings for the reuleaux dna 200 and it was nice and easy just a bit unsure how to set this up when I get it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers

  3. Hi, Daniel. Do you have any video or tutorial about DNA75 devices? Escribe software also looks now quite different. Maybe some updated tutorial would be great thing. I tryed to setup my Therion DNA75 according to your video but its not so easy because the software is now different.

      Dear Daniel, love your channel and really depend on your reviews and tutorial, in my opinion they are the best on the internet. I have watched your review and tutorial for the dna200. I own a Think Vape Box75 with the evolv dna75 chip. The escribe software is a little different now from when you made the video – or perhaps evolv have changed it for dna75 because mod tab is missing so no way to flip the left right button orientation, no way to set tcr manually (only via csv file) no atomizer analizer etc.
      I don’t know if it’s evolv who changed the software for all chips or if it’s just for dna75 (can’t compare to dna200 because unfortunately I don’t own one yet).
      If you have some information about this can you please let your fans know?

    2. I own Hcigar VT75 nano and Lost Vape Therion DNA75. Both come with profiles inside. But none of them works correct in temp control. I made new profiles from steam engine website and it works better. Still hoping to see DNA75 full setup and materials (SS316L) video tutorial from You.

  4. Hi Daniel, huge fan of your work.
    I too was wondering if you was gonna do a review or an update on here for lost vape Thieron or Triad or both. I notice the SS316 profile isn’t as great as my Rx200 and was hoping that you could or would help with posting the profile on here or do a review and show us what we need to do so we can correct the issue. I can use escribe to a degree but not too familiar with changing the temperature control profiles and you’re always using SS in your videos and want to experience that joy for myself. Plus I gave my girlfriend my Rx and I was hoping you would review the lost vape triade and therion but noticed you have the Therion but haven’t reviewed it yet. Regardless keep up the fantastic work .
